Nope. Just grass fed beef, heart, liver, sea salt and vinegar in a beef collagen casing. It took us 2 years to dial this formula to make it just right without the use of these types of ingredients. It was a tall task, but we're proud to say we kept it real.

Our air-dried stick uses a 100% organic, non-irradiated spice blend made only from real, dehydrated vegetables and herbs. There are no seed oils, preservatives, or artificial flavors, and every pepper in the blend is carefully deseeded to avoid unwanted plant compounds.

Pepper seeds are where many of the plant’s natural defense compounds are concentrated—like lectins and certain bitter compounds. These can irritate the gut or immune system, especially for those following a sensitive or animal-based diet. We remove the seeds and use only the outer flesh of the peppers: the pericarp, exocarp, endocarp, and mesocarp—delivering flavor without compromise.

This is a craft, artisanal meat stick made from small regenerative grass-fed and finished farms. This is not a big food, big box factory farm operation. That being said: the taste, texture, and consistency will vary batch to batch. This is not something to fear. This is something to celebrate.
We also use different cuts of meat per batch so you get a truly nose-to-tail product. This also may mean some cuts are a bit fattier and some are a bit leaner.

Our cattle are sourced from small, regenerative farms in Australia.
Most conventional beef snacks come from grain-fed, feedlot-raised cattle that are confined in overstocked conditions and raised using conventional agriculture methods that degrade soil, deplete nutrients, and rely on chemical inputs. We take a completely different approach.
Our regenerative sourcing criteria ensure that the beef in our air-dried sticks comes from cattle raised in a way that promotes soil health, animal welfare, and ecosystem balance. These cattle spend their entire lives on pasture, following natural grazing patterns that reduce stress and support healthier animals. Through rotational grazing, they are moved between pastures to prevent overgrazing and allow the land to recover, which enriches the soil, increases biodiversity, and improves the overall nutritional value of the grasses they consume. Farmers also maintain proper land-to-animal ratios, ensuring that the soil remains nutrient-rich and the grass continues to grow sustainably.
Unlike conventional operations, our farms do not use agro-chemicals—no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers—preserving clean soil, clean water, and the integrity of the ecosystem. The pastures where our cattle graze are naturally diverse, supporting a variety of nutrient-rich native grasses that contribute to higher omega-3 levels and superior beef flavor. And if the casing does separate from the sticks, we encourage you to not let it go to waste. The beef collagen casing is amazing for your hair, skin, and nails.

While obtaining organic certification is a challenging and costly process—often out of reach for the small-scale farms we partner with—we ensure that these farms adhere to practices that meet and even exceed conventional organic standards. This includes a steadfast commitment to no GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or any synthetic chemicals in the raising and feeding of the livestock.
